Questions

Things parents
always ask.

Can my child remove it? +
No. The profile blocks children from removing configuration profiles. Only a parent with the device passcode can uninstall it via Settings.
Does it survive iOS updates? +
Yes — the profile stays installed through updates and all restrictions remain active. We recommend a quick check after major iOS releases once a year.
Which iPhones does it work on? +
Any iPhone running iOS 15 or above — that's every iPhone from the 6s onwards. If your child has an iPhone, it works.
What about apps already installed? +
The App Store is blocked so nothing new can be added. Existing apps like TikTok or Instagram remain but can't connect to the internet — effectively useless.
Can I undo it? +
Anytime. Settings → General → VPN & Device Management → remove the profile. Everything goes back to normal instantly.
Does it block internet in all apps? +
Yes. Family-safe DNS filtering blocks web access at the network level — every app on the phone, not just Safari.

You gave them a phone.
Don't give them the dangers that come with it.
